This tool offers exactly five styles, and you pick one at a time. Here is what each one does, and what the output looks like.

UPPER CASE

Turns every letter into a capital. Useful for short labels, table headers, and anything that needs to carry weight at a glance. Keep it brief, because long runs of capitals are genuinely harder to read.

lower case

Turns every letter lowercase. This is the fastest way to rescue a paragraph typed with Caps Lock left on, and it is the usual first step before you apply a cleaner style on top.

Example: this is lower case.

Sentence case

Capitalizes the first letter of each sentence and lowercases the rest. It is the closest match to ordinary written English, which makes it the right pick for body copy, emails, and product descriptions.

Example: This is sentence case. The next sentence starts fresh.

One honest limitation: no automatic sentence case can tell which words are proper nouns. Do not assume names of people, cities, and brands survive the trip, so give the result a quick read before you publish it.

Capitalize Word

Makes the first letter of every word uppercase. This is the option most people reach for when they want a heading to look deliberate.

Example: This Is Capitalize Word Style.

Worth knowing: this is not the same as formal title case. Editorial style guides keep short words such as and, or, of, and an in lowercase, and a one-click case tool is not the place to expect those exceptions. Check the short words yourself, and if you are working to a house style, treat the output as a starting point rather than a finished headline.

tOGGLE cASE

Flips the case of each letter, so capitals become lowercase and lowercase becomes capital. It is the niche option of the five, used mostly to undo text typed with Caps Lock inverted.

How to use it in three steps

Paste your text. A sentence, a paragraph, or a longer block all work the same way. The box takes plain text, so styling such as bold, italics, fonts, and links does not carry across.

Who actually gets value from this

A supplier sends an editor in Boston twenty product titles, every one of them in full capitals. Retyping is twenty minutes of dull work. Pasting the whole block in, running lower case, then running Capitalize Word takes under a minute, and the only job left is a read-through for brand names.

The same pattern turns up constantly. A student in Berlin fixing a bibliography, a marketer normalizing headings before a bulk upload, a developer tidying labels pulled from a legacy database. Wherever consistency matters more than creativity, converting beats retyping.

Consistent headings also help readers scan a page, which is a small part of a wider on-page SEO routine. Do not overstate it, though. Capitalization style is a polish step, not a ranking lever.
